Each piece from Three Bells Press is printed on an antique cast iron press from 1906. It’s an artisan process: we labour over each piece, mixing our own inks, carefully setting up the press. Each color of printing, and each printed piece, is done individually–we place every paper into the press by hand. Letterpress stationery feels precious: the designs and type are impressed into the surface of the paper. The pieces dance with light and shadow, and are a pleasure to look at and to touch.

We’ve searched out the finest 100% Cotton papers and crisp, bright envelopes to complete our designs. The papers are rich, thick, and really show off the letterpress process.
